It is a one hour drive north from the Cairns Airport to Port Douglas along the magnificent Captain Cook Highway. The views along the coastal road are amazing with lush tropical mountains on one side and the Great Barrier Reef on the other. The Captain Cook Highway is recognised as one of the most scenic coastal drives in the world.

When you arrive in Port Douglas you will feel the genuine warmth of the locals in a tranquil village atmosphere. With a small population of 3500 residents, Port Douglas will leave you with the impression that the locals all know each other and to be perfectly honest, we do.

The village of Port Douglas centres around Macrossan Street and is world renown in the retail world as being style capital of the far north with arts and craft stores, souvenirs, clothing shops, supermarkets, pubs and hotels and a treasure chest full of restaurants, eateries and cafes. When in Port Douglas make sure you visit the Mossman Gorge, Daintree Rainforest, take a trip to the Great Barrier Reef, walk along Four Mile Beach, Shop, Dine and most of all relax.
